A medical doctor, Murabit is a leader in global security, women’s rights, and sustainable development. By age 21, she founded an organization dedicated to women’s leadership in peacebuilding and was pivotal in passing many UN resolutions, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is a Harvard Radcliffe Fellow and Canadian Meritorious Service Cross recipient.
